About Us
Established in 1995, the Brentwood Women's Golf Club (BWGC) is a friendly and fun group of women encouraging women golfers and fostering good fellowship. We play every Thursday at the Brentwood golf club, located in East Bay against the beautiful backdrop of Mount Diablo. We organize friendly competitive games each week and conduct annual Club Championships. Please visit our Events page for more details on our weekly games and tournaments.
Thursday League Play
Our 18-hole women's league plays every Thursday morning starting at 8:00 am in the summer and 9:00 am in the winter with consecutive tee times. Our club year is January 1 through December 31.
Become a Member!
Our club requires prospective members to have a current GHIN index and play to a course handicap of 44 on play days and tournaments. For further information on joining our club please visit our Club By-laws below.
"Full" Members receive all NCGA benefits including a GHIN handicap, may participate in weekly games and Club tournaments, have voting privileges, and may become a Board member.
We offer an "Associate" membership level; a way to receive all NCGA benefits including a GHIN handicap. Associate members are not eligible to play in weekly games and club tournaments.
We also offer a "Social" membership. Members in this category can stay connected with the club by participating in our social activities (e.g., Girl's Night Out, Christmas Lunch, etc.) No NCGA benefits are included, and social members are not eligible to play in weekly games and club tournaments.
